Dancing Princess

Cosette has taken up dancing at Grandmere's house. She marches to the Victrola & Princess dances to the music box. Grandpere joins in on the parade!

Pumpkin Picking 10-4-08

Saturday we went on a hay ride at Duffields Farm Market to pick Pumpkins. We all had a great time!!

Cosette's 1st Time Swimming 6/25/08

Cosette finally went swimming in her pool with Daddy! She was a little apprehensive at first but she got the hang of it rather quickly. The water was cool but it didn't stop her. She ended up pouring water on her head and watching it run down. She is so funny! The play time had to come to a close when she started shivering! There will be more water play in the very near future. She is a bathing beauty!

Hi! Sorry I havent posted in a while but there hasn't been much excitment or anything new to share with you! I will post some pictures of Cosette playing but other than that same old same old! We are starting to realize she isn't a baby any more she is growing into a little girl!

Our Trip to the Park

Today was a very nice day so we took a little venture to the park for some fresh air! Here are some pictures of our outing! She had a great time! She loved the plastic Dinosaur and Alligator. She hasn't mastered the slide yet, she thinks you climb up it not go down it!

A whole new world has opened up to Cosette~ WALKING!

Cosette has started walking on her own within the past week. This has opened up a whole new experience for her. She is doing very well but she still realizes at times it is faster to crawl or walk on her knees. Now that she has discovered the art of walking there is no stopping her. She no longer wants to sit still!

A Day of Trials!

Today has been a day of trials. Cosette is starting to exercise her own will and has realized that she can voice her opinion. I just hope and pray that God will help us mold her into what he wants her to be. She is developing into a very strong willed individual. We just need to channel that character into a Godly direction. But I know we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!

She decided at 2 am that it was time to play. Wide awake she was ready to play! Mom & Dad were not ready to play but we were left no choice. We played and watched Elmo from 2-4am! Life with kids never provides a dull moment!

Well I am off to play with the princess more until nap time! We are into building towers with blocks than knocking them over! She finds great joy in destroying the towers I build.

Welcome to our Family Blog

Hi Everyone! I decided to try blogging. I have never done it before but we will see how it goes! I am hoping this will be a way for those of you who we don't see very often keep up to date with our family. I am sure those of you close by will also enjoy it! I am not sure how often I will be able to update it but I will try at least once a week. Life with a 1 year old can be a roller coaster! Please excuse me if the layouts are odd at first, I am trying to figure this whole thing out!

Here are some picture of Cosette playing in our backyard. She has discovered the great outdoors. She never wants to come in now. She has to pass the yard on the way to the car. I think somedays she needs horse blinders so she doesn't see the toys! We are so grateful she loves the outside. Fresh air does wonders for her!
