Trip to the Bridgeton Zoo

Today was such a beautiful day outside I wanted to do something outdoors and special with Cosette yet at the same time free or very inexpensive. My solution the Bridgeton Zoo! We had a lovely day there. She enjoyed seeing all the animals. It isnt the biggest zoo but it felt much more personal to me. A lady that worked there was so kind- we saw her attending to several animals and she was so friendly and told us all about the animals and their names. They have a very nice relationship with the animals. The animals were very friendly as well.

All in all a great day!

Cosette has moved into a big girl bed!

Cosette transitioned into a big girl bed yesterday. I knew it was coming but wasn't sure so soon. About a month ago she occasionally would climb into her crib but on Wednesday afternoon at naptime she climbed out 5x in a row! I could not believe it, I looked in the video baby monitor to check on her and the crib was empty! My heart jumped and skipped a beat!

Once she mastered the art of climbing out we were fearful of her safety. So last night Ed & Uncle Harry converted her crib into a Toddler bed. She thought it was neat and climbed right in! She seemed very happy. I was a little sad to see the crib go - it means my baby girl isn't a baby any longer!

I was concerned about her 1st night in the big girl bed and was wondering if she or us would get any sleep! She did great! She slept all night and I heard her get up about 6 am which is good for her! So the transition went well. I am very thankful she adapted so easily.

Nap time is approaching and I hope that goes just as well.

Cosette Hunting for Easter eggs

It's been a LONG time!

Wow it has been a VERY long time since I updated our blog. I am going to try and be better about it. Life with a 2 year old is never dull so I am hoping to be able to share it with you on a somewhat regular basis! We are all doing great and always busy! Hope you had a Great Easter! Here is Cosette in her Easter dress! She is quite the little princess!

Dancing Princess

Cosette has taken up dancing at Grandmere's house. She marches to the Victrola & Princess dances to the music box. Grandpere joins in on the parade!

Pumpkin Picking 10-4-08

Saturday we went on a hay ride at Duffields Farm Market to pick Pumpkins. We all had a great time!!

Cosette's 1st Time Swimming 6/25/08

Cosette finally went swimming in her pool with Daddy! She was a little apprehensive at first but she got the hang of it rather quickly. The water was cool but it didn't stop her. She ended up pouring water on her head and watching it run down. She is so funny! The play time had to come to a close when she started shivering! There will be more water play in the very near future. She is a bathing beauty!
